More information about this house sitter

We are a semi retired couple, both from professional backgrounds. Cait still teaches /consults casually from time to time.
We have rented out our beloved rural property on the East Coast of beautiful Tasmania and have hit the travelling semi grey nomad :) road for 2025.
Travelling with a caravan (9 metres in length including drawbar).
We are flexible with location.
We are willing to put our van into storage for the right sit if need be, if parking is a problem.
We are experienced with animals, simple property maintenance and garden care. Chickens, fish, horses, indoor and outdoor plants and swimming pools are not a problem.
We are happy to mow, whipper snipper and attend to any garden needs. Our own property is in a very rural setting and we are verse with rain water tanks, septic systems and the uniqueness a bush property offers. We love our gardens and potted beauties.
We are dog humans, but happy to care for a mixture. We have had several different dog breeds during our life, and are happy to keep them active and be their companions.
We love the outdoors, we hike, bike ride and kayak when possible.
We love jazz music and follow the ‘scene’ if we can.
We are house proud, committed to good organisation and tidiness. We demonstrate a considerate and quiet approach to life, and value honesty. We gain pleasure from doing different things in life, collecting experiences , subscribing to a solid moral compass.
We have grown children, and are family oriented. Our travelling itinerary is not structured, as yet. We would like to travel, occasionally house sit and travel some more.
(Please note - no cat sitting as we are both allergic).
We would take excellent care of your home, your animals, and your surrounds. We are quiet in our life, neither of us smoke and we are clean and healthy people. We both hold National Police Checks. Cait holds child protection, and a full police clearance as she is a registered teacher.
We will be fully 'present' for the housesitting period, to give full attention to caring for your home, plants, gardens and animals.
