We are a fit and active retired couple and we have recently been granted residency in Australia so we have been cleared by the very stringent immigration health and police checks. We are none smokers and our hobbies are walking,cycling,tennis,gardening and reading.In our younger years we owned an equestrian center in Cornwall UK and have always had dogs and cats. We are moving to Australia to be close to our daughter, her husband and two small grandsons who live in Rye on the Mornington peninsular. We have three properties in France two of which we rent out in the summer months these properties are now for sale. It is unfortunate that our plan to move has coincided with the economic crisis which is particularly bad in Europe and sales are slower than we hoped. House sitting seems the perfect solution for us until we can free up some of our assets to buy a house. We are clean and careful people and would have liked to send you a link to the site for our properties to show the standard of our housekeeping but unfortunately this is not allowed to be included in our profile description(we can provide if you email )
As we are new to this country we as yet have no friends so there will certainly be no partying or extra visitors and we will happily adhere to any restrictions you wish to impose and will at all times treat your home with the same respect and care that we do our own.We have our own small car and will need access to the internet. We have our own computer but need internet as we will still be taking bookings on our French properties that remain unsold.
We are flexible with dates and although would prefer to stay in one location would consider any stay of one month minimum.
