I am semi-retired; I am originally from the UK and moved to NZ in 1992 with a young family. I came over to WA in 2012 and did FIFO for 5 years. My daughter, son and grandchildren now all live in Australia. I am a handy man and have done house and pet sits in Australind and Denmark W.A. but in both these sits I did painting and decorating and DIY jobs as well. I've also done sits in Nelson Bays, NSW, looking after a dog and 2 cats and a detached house with Elsie the cat in central Sydney. . My Children always had pets which included dogs, cats, Guinea pigs, mice and a possum. I am housetrained and a non-smoker. I can provide a police clearance, and both written and phone references. I've also spent 3 weeks in Coolangatta looking after an apartment and Raro the cat and 2 budgies, 3 weeks in Logan village, Brisbane, looking after a 4x2 house and Baxter and Bonnie 2 large German Shepard dogs and 2 cats who are in the photos and Redbank Plains, Brisbane, looking after a 4x2 house and Finch the Cat. Jan 2020, Then A two week sit in Dungog NSW turned into 2 months due to Irene the house owner getting stuck down in Victoria due to covid restrictions and family commitments, when She finally made it back i was lucky to be able to stay in Newcastle with my son, his wife and the grand children for Lockdown No sits. I have now settled in Newcastle and have done sits in Merryweather and caves beach and would like to continue with longish the house sits in or around the Newcastle area , I work 2 or 3 days a week as a traffic controller around Newcastle I am triple vaxed and longish sits give my kids a break from grandad in the granny flat and ill hopefully make some new furry friends and having a base in Kahibah Newcastle also means I’m flexible. With date’s etc. because plans can change overnight, and I’ll be able to work round that? I’ll also be happy for a pre stay visit for a chat Bob update have done a 3 week sit in Edgeworth and I'm now doing a two-week sit in Ellabana looking after Mitsy the older lady dog and puddles the I’m in charge cat? I'm back in Kahibah and have a small hobby farm sit booked in February. Update I have done the farm sit in Hannan vale looking after 2 horses 2 cow's boots and socks and 2 cats and have a new reference on my profile. I'm currently doing a 5 week sit in Thighs Hill Newcastle looking after Ollie the dog and 2cats one called Miss Molly Biggs, the other Little. From here I go back to Kahibah for 5 weeks to look after my kids and grandkids dog Max and the chickens while there away. I'm now looking for a longish sit anywhere in NSW from end May onwards. ? update Have done a 3 week sit in Charlestown and I'm now halfway through a 4 month sit in Jewells looking after a 4x2 detached house and two cats Hamish and Ziggy this sit ends October 20th, 2023, I'm now on my pension and can work a day or two a fortnight if needed.
