Happily Retired and Enjoying Life

More information about this house sitter

We have recently returned to Mindahome after spending the past two years away dealing with family and health matters.

I was born on a farm on the Darling Downs and attended boarding school, where I enjoyed playing cricket, rugby and tennis. Following university, I completed a degree in Information Technology and commenced my career in Melbourne before later relocating to Brisbane.

After several years in the corporate sector, my wife and I established our own business, which we successfully operated for 20 years before selling it and retiring 16 years ago.

We spent 33 years living on acreage with a succession of much-loved dogs and cats before moving to the Gold Coast.

Our interests include domestic and international travel, photography (particularly seascapes and landscapes), and investments in both property and shares.

Family remains a central part of our lives. We have two children, their partners and four wonderful grandchildren, who certainly help keep us active and entertained.

After a period away, we are now back and looking forward to becoming actively involved in the Mindahome community once again. 😊
