My husband & I retired in 2014 and have purchased an self-contained caravan. We wish to travel and experience Australia and would like to meet people on the way. We, ourselves have had the pleasure of a house sitter in our own home and found it a rewarding experience for both parties. We own our own home which we have rented out. My husband was a primary, secondary and tertiary school teacher for 45yrs and I have owned a cattle station and worked in administration and retail. We are very neat, tidy and reliable, non smokers who love animals. We have lived in Brisbane, in the same house for 15 years and worked full time up to end of 2013.
Qualifications:
Rod: Teaching Degree (Primary & Secondary)
Diploma in Business
Cert IV in Workplace Training
Post Graduate in Adult Education
Christine: Cert IV in Workplace Training
Certificate in Dispensary Technician (Pharmacy)

Our first assignment was in Jun 2014 for one week just south of Brisbane on acreage looking after horses, dogs, cats, fish, chooks & lizards. We have housesat for friends in Hervey Bay from July to Nov 2014 and have recently housesat for my nephew in Mt Gravatt, Brisbane.

We were in need of house sitters for only the second time. So still had all the first timer reservations and concerns. Would we find someone to look after our home? Would they be trustworthy and would they be able to look after and care for our animals?
We were very fortunate to find Christine and Rod. After chatting briefly my concerns were put at ease and they totally surpassed my expectations. Our animals were comfortable around them also which made our leaving easier.
Christine and Rod paid very careful attention to our requests and feeding patterns etc and I was confident and comfortable to leave all of our precious creatures in their care.
Like I mentioned before they surpassed our expectations and I would happily recommend Christine and Rod.
