We are Carla and Tom. Please read below to find out more about each of us...

The Short Story:
- 23-year-old working/studying couple
- Between the two of us there will be someone home almost all of the time
- Experience pet-sitting with good past reviews
- Can look after any animal except cats (Carla is allergic 🙁)
- Looking for places closer to the city (Less than 60 minutes by public transport to the city)

The Long Story
A little about our current situation 🏡
At the moment we are living together in a studio apartment but won't be able to live there much longer as the house it's attached to has been sold.

We feel that our time in our respective parent's houses has run its course. Both turning twenty-four this year we felt that it was time to make our move. But, our attempt to officially move out of home has been thwarted by the current rental crisis. Our plans to both study and work part-time this year doesn't provide much wiggle room in the budget for expensive rentals.

Between us, we are home-bodies, spending nearly every day of the week at home. Your pets and furry friends will get lots of love and attention from us and we're sure we will from them too 🐶❤️.

About Tom
Hi, I'm Tom. I've grown up with pets my whole life. My Dad owned a farm, so I've been exposed to all kinds of animals. I did some pet-sitting a few years ago and I've missed it ever since - the opportunity to make new animal friends is always something I'm excited to take (this is one of my favourite parts of working at a cafe, all the dogs I get to meet!). I love rock climbing, hiking and most outdoor activities. I'm studying food science at Murdoch Uni and I'm loving it so far.

I'm excited to be looking for pet-sitting opportunities again and I look forward to hearing from you!

Hi, I'm Carla. I'm born and raised south of the swan river. I'm currently in my final year of law school at UWA. I am also a paralegal three days a week at a commercial firm in the City. Although I make it a habit of going into the office to maintain a healthy work-life balance, I have the availability to work from home if the need ever arises. I feel very grateful that my workplace supports flexible working!

I enjoy hiking and being outdoors. I love to keep active. I go indoor bouldering regularly and try to practice yoga a few times a week.

I really love cooking and, to be honest, spend a lot of my free time daydreaming about food. I used to bake a lot but these days I have been experimenting with more savoury flavours.

Unfortunately, I'm allergic to cats. But I'm excited to look after all other furry (and feathered) friends. Read more...
