More information about this house sitter

Arthur and Miranda are a reliable, friendly, tidy, married couple who live on the Mornington Peninsula, Melbourne. We moved here at the end of 2019 after the last of our three children left home. Arthur heads up the Counselling faculty of an academic institution and runs a part time private practice. Miranda recently retired from formal education and still does some private tutoring and voluntary mentoring of children. We both enjoy nature, walking, books, music and hosting friends and family in our home. Miranda also enjoys needlework and finding creative ways of connecting on line with our grandson in the USA. We are community oriented people and are both involved in some voluntary work through our local church.
Miranda and Arthur emigrated from Cape Town, South Africa some 15 years ago. While based in Melbourne, we have loved the opportunities we've had to explore different parts of Australia. Both Happy Homers are experienced in looking after the various homes we have owned, the garden, pool and pets. Over the years we have enjoyed a variety of pets, including dogs (2 Pointers, a Beagle, 3 Bullmastiffs, a Jack Russell X), cats, hamsters, silkworms and birds. Sadly both our old dogs passed away recently. We now appreciate the opportunity to care for the pets of others.
We are both non smokers and have current police checks. Read more...
