Hi there,
My name is Lara from Manly beach area in Sydney.
I am a mature, friendly, genuine and motivated individual who spends most of my time (outside work) building upon on my creative projects (like illustration), going for beach runs, reading, meeting new people and listening to music, volunteering, playing with my pets (had a litter of puppies and now have 2 collies - as well as farm animals out our farm on the south coast NSW). After working overseas recently I am beginning a career change but employment has been in media & coms, tourism, service industry and in research (politics and development).

I have Housesit successfully before (have references) and enjoy it because I like keeping a home well kept and the space to myself. The reason for my house sitting is that currently I am trying to save for my own move out of Sydney eventually and as this takes time and is a little tricky saving wise in Sydney and I do not intend to stay at my family home I have found this works for both. I have the energy to keep your home nice but a calm, reliable demeanour. I work half the day and will be starting a masters degree in environmental management (externally from UQ) so there will be no socialising in your home. Gardening is a joy. If I Housesit out of Sydney it is because I hope to get a slow understanding of other places I may one day live!
I have a car and because I know Sydney I will always have emergency contacts of my family if there were an issue (which there shouldn't be).
