Hi, I am a single mature woman who has been house sitting in Victoria, Queensland and N.S.W at various times over the last six years.

I have owned my own property in Melbourne and do understand the care and commitment a house requires to be kept at its best.

I have always enjoyed being outdoors and am always happy to carry out work in the garden as well as keeping the inside of your house immaculate. In fact, I kind of like weeding!

For many years I have worked in the Education System as a teacher. Along with teaching I have run my own tourism business, worked in administration and promotions.

I have traveled fairly extensively around Australia and the world. Last year I spent time in Italy, Scotland, Sri Lanka and India. My favourite destination though would be Canada.

For most of my life I have been an avid sportswoman. I am always up for a walk and each day I allocate time to be outdoors. I enjoy snow skiing, riding bikes, hiking and meditating. I particularly enjoy walking and swimming at the beach.

I have always loved animals and was fortunate enough to always have at least one dog in the family. I grew up on an orchard in country Victoria, surrounded by bush. We had horses, cows, dogs and the occasional cat. I do not currently have a pet, so having the time to spend with animals is probably what I enjoy most about house sitting. I am particular fond of dogs and cats.

During my house sits, I have taken care of both large dogs (the largest being lab/poodle cross- Bear!) and small dogs (the smallest Toy Poodle- Lulu) Numerous cats. Toyko-Rose, the cat with the most attitude, many fish and one cockatiel- Buddy! Awesome little bird.

I enjoy my own company and do not need a great deal of entertainment to keep me occupied. I enjoy reading, yoga, being outdoors and listening to music.

I am well organised, reliable, neat, tidy and capable of dealing with emergencies should they arise. I have references from past owners that I can supply. I look forward to hearing from you and having the opportunity to spend time minding your home. Read more...
