Hello :) I am 45 year old happy and blessed Mum to an amazing (..reserved around those she doesn't know well, beautifully mannered, thoughtful, delightful, bright, fun..) 7 year old girl, Lily. (We can happily co-sleep so only one double/queen/king bed is all we need.) We share our hearts and home with a joyful Golden Labrador and 2 gorgeous felines. (Lily's Dad will live with and care for our fur babies whilst we are away.)

* We had a fantastic 10 day house/pet sit late December/early January 2017 in NSW near Sydney. Please see reference attached.
*We just finished (17 March to 30 April, 2017) a wonderful pet/house sit in the Alpine region - Myrtleford, so beautiful, so rewarding. Please see reference attached.
* We are now booked from 11 May to 20 June, 2017 :)

We are looking for a medium term length stay in a well cared for, light and airy home in Vic. Being close to the ocean is something we'd love. Living in Ballarat we rarely experience the beauty, wonder and peace the ocean can bring on a near daily basis :) The mountains would be wonderful too. Ideally we would love to be somewhere where the pets are allowed inside at least some of the time and we are not interested in a place that doesn't have pets to love :)

Lily and I bring with us warm natures, optimistic and joyful attitudes and a reverence for all life...except perhaps flies, ha ha ;) :D We are looking forward to connecting with the right people for a mutually rewarding experience. We have a genuine desire to bring an atmosphere of happiness and harmony to your home and to provide your pets with all the love and care they want and need...and then probably a bit more :D We will be as respectful of your home as we are of ours, e.g. turning lights/appliances off when not in use, security conscious, keeping things clean and tidy.

As a current family day care educator my home is regularly inspected (surprise visits approx. once a month) by a coordinator from the City of Ballarat family day care scheme to ensure standards of cleanliness and safety are being met. I am sure they would be happy to provide a reference regarding such. I have a current WWCC (working with childrens check) and police check. Note: finished this work for our pet/house sit and homeschooling adventure start in March 2017.

P.S. I am pretty handy around the house too. I can easily handle broken light bulbs or any other minor thing that can require attention in a home. I am no stranger to power tools and have a scroll saw, sander, mitre saw and dremel tool that I love to 'play' with. So please do not let the fact that I am not male or will not have a male with me put you off! ;) And just for your peace of mind, not that the need would arise, but we have family at home who wouldn't hesitate to travel to help us out in any situation.
