I am a mature, reliable person who normally lives and works in Central Queensland where I am a home-owner with a husband and two grown-up children. But I am currently taking a break from work and am having a bit of an adventure exploring south east Queensland on my own! I would love to do some housesitting in order to experience ‘living like a local’ in some of the suburbs/communities in the area. More importantly I would enjoy some animal companionship as my much-loved 14 year-old doggo is back at home and I miss him a lot!! :D
I would treat your home and possessions with the greatest of respect and would happily shower your pets with love and attention. I am a friendly but quiet-living non-smoker who is very trustworthy (police check available). I love nature and the outdoors; I am fit and healthy and enjoy walking or spending time in the garden; I am happy to do chores and don’t mind getting my hands dirty.
I have always had animals in my life: my Dad never quite let go of his farm upbringing and at various times housed a sheep, a goat, a couple of calves and a dozen or so chooks in our generously-sized suburban backyard!
