More information about this house sitter

My husband and I are semi-retired, non smokers, from Bunbury in Western Australia, currently working, volunteering and house sitting our way around Australia. We own our own home in Bunbury which we have rented whilst travelling. We have owned pets in the past and also property with a below ground swimming pool.

Prior to moving to Bunbury 20+ years ago we lived in four small country towns, accepting work transfers with Wesfarmers.
My husband has 11 years experience working as a Ranger/Fire Control Officer with the City of Bunbury - spending many hours caring for other people's dogs and cats.
He has 25+ years experience with Volunteer Bush Fire Brigades.
He has experience as a livestock and merchandise representative for Wesfarmers and small business owner.
Experience with dogs, cats, horses, cattle, sheep, goats, pigs, and gold fish :).
I worked as a Finance Officer with the City of Bunbury for 6 years. Previous employment positions were in office administration and small business owner.
We are easy going, country people who enjoy meeting other people - because everyone has a story to tell!

During November and December 2015 we spent 8 weeks on a property near Warwick in Queensland, where we assisted with fencing, crop seeding, watering cattle, gardening - including lawn mowing, rose garden, herb garden, fruit trees, vegetable garden, and odd jobs. The owners were away for some of that time leaving us to manage cattle, chickens, a goose, two cats and the gardens. The reference for this position is attached.
Since then we have completed a 4 week house sit position in Alexandra Hills near Brisbane, a six week house sit in Hervey Bay, a five week house sit in Tannum Sands ( reference attached), and a three week gardening/pet sitting position in Longreach Queensland.

We do have a caravan, (approx. 9 meters end to end) which is shown in our profile, and will need to know if we would have easy access to your property, room to park and turn around and power and water.

We would love the opportunity to enable you to have a relaxing break while we look after whatever needs looking after. If we commit to your house sit your requests become our priority.

If we apply to sit for you and are not required, we would appreciate a quick email just saying - "Thank you, but your services are not required". This will help us to plan our travel times and volunteer farm sits.
