My new house on Bribie Island was supposed to be completed in May. Building hasn't started yet which means that I shall be homeless from the end of June. My plan was to rent a pet friendly apartment but 2 weeks ago my little Dachshund became seriously ill and I was forced to put her to sleep. The silver lining is that I'm able to pet sit for someone who would like to go away knowing that their precious pet will be happy and well cared for. I'm 62 and divorced. My 2 daughters are in their 30s, married and independent. They were also pet lovers so we had dogs, a cat, a horse, a rabbit, mini hamsters, fish and stick insects (not my favourite!). I am neat, tidy and organised. My friends would probably say I'm caring and reliable. My passion is art but I'm definitely not a hippie!
