Hi all,
We are a mid-50’s couple, in semi-retirement and are excited to be getting ready for our next adventure. We are very pet friendly and capable and are both non-smokers and occasional drinkers. Both Shane and I love animals (big and small) and have become keen Covid-gardeners! We are always up for a walk and time outdoors so any pets that require it are sure to get their exercise. We are home owners and landlords ourselves so are respectful and careful of others’ property. We would love the opportunity to live in different communities and towns across the country and make new friends and connections wherever we go.

We are new to house-sitting but have both held positions of responsibility and trust and can provide references from employers and even neighbours who we have assisted over the years. Shane has worked as a contractor in the mining industry for many years. He also owned and operated his own garage, general store and workshop for 13 years. He is a qualified Electrician and Motor Mechanic. I have worked in the Aquatic Industry and Retail Management and have experience as an Store Manager, Aquatic Centre Manager, Swim Teacher and Lifeguard (First Aid, CPR and Police Checks).

We are based in Brisbane but travel to the Hunter Valley and Tasmania to visit family and friends on a regular basis. Currently we travel in a VW campervan but will soon take ownership of a caravan for more extended trips. Thanks for taking the time to check us out!
