Hi there....Col and I own a home in an 'Over 50s resort' in the Northern Rivers (NSW) but, having always been country folk who have had our own acreage, sometimes we find we need to 'escape' the resort (that closes in on us from time to time!) back to the quietness and peace of the country and this is why we like to do mostly RURAL housesitting from time to time.
Before we bought into the Resort 3 years ago we retired early and travelled for 4 years in a motorhome doing many many housesits along the way...as well as camping.
Our happiest and most fulfilling experiences however were on property where we could get back to the farm life we know and so miss.

As huge 'animal lovers' we are the happiest when surrounded by animals and activity involving the animals on the farm. We are through with sightseeing these days...so your home and animals would have our top priority, oodles of mothery love and attention and above all.... security. We would rarely be away from your property as it is the lifestyle we so enjoy.
We are experienced in MOST areas of hobby and small rural farming (as that was our way of life before retiring) and have some experience in 'big' farming....although mainly shifting livestock from time to time.
We are the 'most' content when down on 'the farm'.
Being now in our early 60s we tend to just care for small farms and small acreage now and leave the 'heavy' manual labour of big farms to the younger generation laugh...
We are extremely reliable,conscientious,
and love to keep our home owners up to date with news from 'home' whilst away to reassure them all is well.
