More information about this house sitter

My husband has recently retired after 30 years in the hospitality and retail business, and I am taking time off work. Our children have left the nest and are yet to give us grand children so the time is ripe for us to once again explore the world. David is originally from Ireland and I'm an Aussie. We are very lucky to enjoy good health and are quite fit, though more inclined to a long bush or beach walk than to running a marathon.
We have loved travelling all our life and no doubt this love will never end, but our needs have changed as we have aged. We no longer feel the need to conquer and change the world, though we still like to think that we do our little bit for the sake of the earth, Now we are happy with the simple things of life, the sunsets and sunrises, walking dogs along the Beach, a Sav Blanc in the summer breeze, or cat on my lap as I snooze by the fire. Life is good and we are as happy exploring a village as looking at the wonders of the world. Finding a cafe that has good coffee or the bakery that has the best pies. Letting the dogs show us their favourite tracks, or chatting with locals and attending the local markets. We are presently like everyone had our wings clipped, are in our own home in Victoria, but anxious to be on the move again. .We have extensive experience with animals, after having quite the menagerie ourselves, and I was also involved with wild life caring for many years.

Though we began this journey inexperienced, we have now quite a few sits under our belt. Met amazing people, and have fallen in love with so many of their pets. We will be adding more references in the near future to our profile. Everyone seems very Happy with our sits, as we do treat their home as our own and their animals with the upmost respect, Just loving the house sits and the new experiences . We are a reliable trustworthy couple so please consider us for your next sit. We really enjoy immersing ourselves in a village and soaking up the culture of that area. Some of our previous sits have involved travelling with dogs back across the country for owners. Sitting small farmlets to inner city apartments. We are house owners ourself, so have utmost respect for people's homes and gardens. We understand the anxiety that comes with leaving ones family members in the hands of strangers, so will bombard you with photos of them whilst you are away If thats your wish.
