I've recently returned home (or as close to it as possible) after almost 15 years abroad. In my previous life, I was a mother to a beautiful Persian as was also lucky to live with some of the sweetest dogs. Now that I'm back in Australia and without any animal comforts, there seems to be a dog-shaped hole in my heart. So I would like to offer myself as a house-sitter and pet-guardian to fill the void.
I'm new to the city, I work full-time and have Sundays and Mondays free to gallivant and explore. Taking care of people's homes and pets is a great way to learn the ropes of Melbourne (quickly), and to help figure out where the best part of the city is for me to settle.
