Hi, my name is Denise,
Thank you for reading my profile. A little bit about myself, I am a very fit, active and self sufficient 50 year old. I still love to get out and snowski, waterski and hike.

From 2011 to 2015 I decided to move to Christchurch NZ, working with a company to help with repairs and rebuilds on earthquake damaged properties.

I had the opportunity to meet some lovely people and made some great friends. While I was there I also had several opportunities to help people out with looking after their homes and pets when they needed a break away from Christchurch for a week or a weekend or longer.

The last housesit in NZ was just prior to leaving Christchurch. I rented a room from a couple, Jill and Derek. They were going overseas for an extended period and asked me if I would care for their home and lovely old pussy cat named Tom. Jill and Derek left on their holiday at the beginning of January and I cared for their house and pet until the end of Feb which was my planned return date back to Australia. I thoroughly enjoyed the experience.

Since my return to Qld I have been looking after a large home on acreage at Bannockburn, with lovey pussy cat by the name of Coco. I take care of the extensive yard which entails mowing the lawns with a ride on mower, taking care and cleaning of a large swimming pool, caring for the plants, weeding and of course the house and pussy cat. Michelle and her partner will be returning from their trip around Australia at the end of January so I am now looking for my next housesitting experience.

I am an honest and caring person and an animal lover. I have owned lots of pets of my own while my children were growing up. No matter how large or small our pets were, they were always welcome inside as a part of our family. We have owned 2 beautiful Labradors and a Golden Retriever who all lived to a ripe old age. We also had a little King Charles Cavalier and several cats from moggies to purebreds.
