Hi my name is Chris and I am seeking house or property sitting assignments with or without pets in South Australia, Victoria for the following periods:
Due to personal circumstances I will not be taking any further house/pet sitting assignments after 8th December 2017. Existing arrangements for March 2018 throught to End July 2018 will be honoured.
Duration flexible, depending on the situation.
I am an Aussie, just in case you are wondering and have been traveling around Asia for a couple of years, so its time to head back home and re-connect with family and friends. I therefore need somewhere to hang my hat for a while and decide where I want to call home. I am not too fussy about where the sitting job(s) are located and can be pretty much anywhere in South Australia or Victoria as long as I can get access to a local town.
I am a quiet non smoking person who likes my own company and that of your pets of course. I like to read and spend time researching my current passion which is researching my family history, so as long as I can connect to the internet, I am quite happy. I get along with most animals (particularly dogs, cats and horses) that don't look upon me as being their next meal and having lived in numerous remote locations around the world, one has to be pretty adaptable to fix a pets' little or big problems without having to call the vet every 5 minutes. I am also pretty handy at fixing and repairing things around the house/property and have a wealth of experience from being a semi rural property owner for some 40 years. I enjoy gardening, (mostly vegetables) and have a lot of experience looking after my acreage properties which would include building sheds and garages, house renovations, fencing, roofing, painting and decorating and a multitude of other things, so if there is a short project that you have been meaning to do, then there is a good chance that I can help out with that as well. I can drive and have a valid WA drivers license and I have my own vehicle.
I was also an SES volunteer for a few years, so can cope with emergencies, should they occur.
