Hello, my name is Gillian but most people call me GiGi.

I'm a professional, single, non-smoking female and I've just moved to Melbourne after living and working in different parts of Asia for the past 5 years. I've been teaching English for the past 10 years and I hold a Bachelor and Masters in my field. I've just started teaching here at a University in the Melbourne CBD. At the moment I'm teaching 2 - 3 days per week.

I've started house-sitting while I get on my feet - and while my luggage is being shipped here.

I'm responsible, reliable and honest. I have up-to-date police checks and can send you character references and identification if needed. Also, please scroll down to see my reviews from my past sits at the bottom of this profile.

Also, and very importantly, I love animals! I grew up in Brisbane with lots of animals, mostly dogs and birds, but I'm comfortable looking after all types of non-farm pets and definitely understand they need daily walks, on-time meals and lots of extra pats and attention while you're away. When I lived in Cairns, I volunteered for a year at an animal shelter where I'd help clean, feed and walk the animals waiting to be adopted. I've also been a volunteer at an orangutan / sunbear sanctuary in Borneo, Malaysia.

I'm also very clean, quiet and respectful of other people's things. I'm a home owner myself, so I'd care for your place like it were my own while you're away, and of course, water any plants.

My other interests are yoga, gymnastics and I'd like to start sailing classes here at the yacht club.

At the moment I don't have a car, so I'd need to stay somewhere walking distance to a train or public transport - not too far from the CBD.

I'd be happy to meet with you, your family and pets before you go, so you can get to know me better.
