More InformationRelief for owners in need of a break away, short or long.
No property too small or too big, I enjoy the change.
I mind homes, properties or farms with security.
I volunteer to mind properties with or without animals, which get on well with me. I treat them as they are accustomed, and as per owner’s instructions. Your pets will get their exercise, companionship and any medication necessary.
You will receive regular updates. I am self-funded, bring my own groceries and volunteer my time for free. In return, I enjoy travelling, animal companionship and regional communities. I care for house pets or farm stock. Homes, hobby farms etc.
I will not bring any pets of my own and your property will be in no less a condition or better on your return. Keep your property occupied and secure while your away.
My previous experience includes hospitality/tourism Aus and NZ, resort supervision, commercial industrial landscaping. I have experience with my own roses, Kentia palms etc.
I have experience with regards to problem-solving. I would require details of valves, extinguishers, power box, emergency services, contact details etc.
Note – I DO NOT mind properties that are for sale, under lease or agistment. I mind properties for owners only.
>> "To Whom It May Concern, David minded our small farm and we would recommend his services to anyone. He was extremely reliable and gave us great peace of mind that our home was being well looked after. He had to deal with a flooded river, moving cattle, maintaining the pool, maintained lawns and gardens and left the house in the same condition as we left it. He is a very self sufficient man, and was accessible to us if we had any enquiries. We will certainly ask him to house sit for us again. Regards Geoff and Judy 4 weeks, Bootawah.
>> "David Warren looked after our small acreage on the NSW Central Coast for two months and we were very fortunate to have him there. He kept us informed, sent pictures, and coped extremely well when a cyclone swept through the area, taking out trees in the street and on our property. The house was clean and tidy, the grass cut and everything looked great on our return and we would certainly use him again. We are quite happy to confirm this reference." Anne and David 8 weeks. Lisarow.
>> "Thank you for everything. It was great to know the place was in good hands, Maya and Trevor." This property mind was with a horse whisperer endurance rider, golden guitar award winner Trevor Knight, a horse whispering. He explained the horses gestures, and after giving specific body motions, he had the horse bowing it's head in acceptance, then turned and walked toward me, with the horse following at his shoulder. He will do field days for enough locals that gather anywhere. Maya and Trevor. Bulahdelah.
>> "We have no reservations in recommending you, or asking you to return if needed. It must have been rather difficult with the continuous rain, and floods, and we thank you for keeping everything safe. The dogs keep looking at the gate at every noise, waiting for you to return!, and piggy is very large, and even more chatty.". Clarencetown.
>> "Hi Dave, thank you for looking after the horses, chickens and our place so well. You certainly had to face a few weather induced difficulties!. Having the lawn beautifully mown was a lovely surprise. Good luck with your future house sits." Somersby.
>> "Just wanted to say thanks again, we returned last night to a house that was so clean and tidy that it almost didn't seem to have had anyone in it. Anyway, thank you again, very grateful that you kept everything alive you must have got sick of watering!! And I see you rescued the poor little palm and gave it a new home in the red pot... something I have been planning to do for ages." Lisarow.
>> 100 acres with full size poodle and cattle in Quorrobolong near Cessnock.(3 months ended August 2018). "Thankyou so much for your care of our dog Nelson, cattle and property. The drought made it a testing time.Regards Karen and Peter.
>> As usual, house immaculate. And spring has arrived, a lovely smell of wysteria in the air when we got home. Thanks Dave, September 2018 Anne and David. Lisarow NSW (3rd time)
>> Hi Dave, Thankyou so much for minding our property and Ruby for us. We arrived at 12.15pm to a very warm welcome from Ruby and spent a relaxing afternoon, the red eye flights are do not encourage quality sleep! Are you open to future property care? depending on your availability. Once more, thank you and take care, Lyn. Failford NSW Sep 2018.
>> We have found how busy you have been taking special care of our furry and feathered friends eg the shelters etc, thank you very much again. We're sure the sheep and birds appreciated it. Its lovely to have the King parrots now regularly visiting each morning. Regards Sue and Andrew, Tinonee, Oct 2018.
