My name is Jacinta, I am a solo house sitter who has been house sitting for the past year informally.
The house sit that I am currently in was organised through people I know and I have been there for almost 13 months caring for the gardens. Previous to this I have house sat and looked after chickens for six weeks. References can be provided if necessary.
I am a passionate gardener, who loves to experiment with ferments and other kitchen projects.
While I’m not gardening I am busy creating unique wearable art pieces for my festival market stall her soulful hands.
I lived a nomadic life up until last year when I began house sitting.
I live a quiet lifestyle, mostly crafting and gardening, having friends visit to engage in such activities. I am a non smoker and non drinker.
I am fit and strong and am able to do gardening and mowing/whipper snipping. In my last employment I whipper snipped at a banana farm.
I love dogs and cats and will happily care for your fur babies. My lifestyle doesn’t allow me to have my own so I love to give animals all my love where possible.
I am currently riding my bicycle on a big journey from cairns to Perth. I anticipate to arrive to Perth sometime late October and will be available to housesit then. Looking for short term or long term. Read more...
