“House Sitters Extraordinaire”

We are a matured aged couple traversing Australia. We are experienced House Sitters, having just completed a position in Highvale Queensland. Our former full time occupation was as the Managers of the Samford Valley (QLD) Showgrounds. In this capacity we were responsible for the complete maintenance, operation and events co-ordination of the Showgrounds complex.

This position has prepared us perfectly for House Sitting duties and we bring a wealth of experiential skills with us:

We have extensive grounds and building maintenance experience so, we are able to handle small or very large properties;

We possess experience with the general care and maintenance of lawn equipment and accessories;

We have a great deal of practical experience in cleaning and maintaining large halls, public toilet facilities and ensuring security systems are operational and effective so, minding a domestic premises is not a challenge;

We are able to manage properties in line with Owner guidelines, requirements and expectations;

We possess good problem solving abilities coupled with good communication skills;

We have extensive experience in the care and support of large and small animals. We have had and cared for dogs, cats, cattle and horses to name a few;

We are also able to manage any administrative duties as directed by the Homeowner, such as:
ensuring that any household accounts are paid on time;
the mail is collected and that forwarding instructions are followed;
ensuring that any phone calls and any ‘door knocks’ are handled in accordance with homeowner requirements in order to ensure that the confidentiality of the Home Owner is protected.

We know what RESPONSIBILITY is and we take whatever assignment we get very seriously…we understand that the “Buck Stops with Us!
