Hi There!!
My name is Jess, and I first discovered house-sitting a few yeasrs ago after returning from a long overseas trip, and found it a great way to settle back into life, before finding my new home.
Fast forward a few years and I have just returned from living overseas for a year, and am looking to do the same now - I have house-sat for around 8 different people from a week, to two months and love exploring new parts of Melbourne and Victoria, loving people's pets (as I can't have my own at the moment), and discovering new running tracks!

I am an IT Consultant, and I love animals; I spent 2 years working at the Lost Dogs' Home in Melbourne and loved hanging out and helping with the animals on a daily basis, as part of this job I did a lot of foster care of pets that needed a little love!! My most recent job was working within the transport industry before heading off to travel, and I spent the last 8 months working remotely from overseas and gaining my PADI scuba diving certifications. My main love in life is running, aiming for another marathon this year! I am currently working from home, which seems to work well for the animals!

As well as house-sitting I have used Airbnb, and couchsurfing and have got excellent reviews on both - which I can provide upon request.

I am respectful, clean, and tidy and treat others homes like I would like mine to be treated. I work by sticking to the animal/s schedule/routine as closely as possible - I find this provides a smooth transition, and with a little extra love from me it seems to work well!
