Hi there,

My name's Rachael. I've been house sitting for almost 2 years now.

Over this time I have cared for an array of people's homes and pets. I've thoroughly enjoyed every sit I have taken and feel incredibly fortunate & honoured to be entrusted to care for people's homes and beloved pets. So many adorable animals!! From a smoochy pair of Burmese boys, the sweetest ball loving Staffie, a slightly crazy Terrier puppy, a delightful pair of feline brothers, a playful scruffy Maltese, some fish and a python. Too many to mention! In addition I have also had my own chickens and assisted in managing a bee hive in the past.

I am self employed, working freelance as a recipe developer and food writer. I love that my job gives me the flexibility to move around and explore new places via house sitting. All I need is a working kitchen and the internet and I'm good to go! My workload is variable, with periods of downtime. There's always plenty of time for fulfilling my house sitting requirements. I

In the past I have also worked as: a live in carer, residential manager of a villa in the South of France, a private chef for a Lord and Lady in Scotland, a nanny and as a residential carer for children and adults with disabilities. Living in anothers' home and taking care of it to the highest standard is something which I am very experienced in.

I am clean, tidy, quiet and well behaved - mostly ; ) I also enjoy gardening so if you happen to have a vegetable or regular garden I would be happy to take care of it for you.

I can provide verbal and/or written references and am happy to meet you and your pet in person or via skype to discuss the house sit further.

I hope you will consider allowing me to take care of your house and pet whilst you're away.
