My partner Andy and I are moving out of our apartment soon, heading to Japan for a holiday before we then look to embark on a few months of house- and pet-sitting to save some money as Andy is currently renovating a house and we are saving for our wedding early next year. We are both 33 years old and currently live in the Hobart CBD. I work for the Department of State Growth and Andy is a Park Ranger on Maria Island (during the week he stays on island maybe 2-3 nights). We both love cats and dogs, unfortunately Andy’s family dog had to be put down in November at the age of 14 (Jim was a beautiful gentle giant), so it would be very nice looking again after a pet and enjoying their company. I have looked after friends’ dogs in the past while they have been on holidays so I can provide any references if that would be helpful ? Aside from that, Andy and I enjoy our quiet time during the week, Andy spends the weekends renovating a house in West Hobart, while I try and plan our wedding haha and do some other chores, which leaves the Saturday night to go out for dinner and drinks and be social catching up with others etc. Read more...
