Hi there,
I'm here to help YOU; a Retiree and experienced house & pet sitter, through word of mouth, with great references.
After many years travelling between Australian States to help out family and friends, my trademark is about supporting and creating better lives for people in their homes, often over and above their needs. The bonus is unconditionally loving people's pets.
I've had many of my own adored dogs, cats, birds, rabbits and guinea pigs whilst raising a family and absolutely understand the need to affectionately care for animals when their loved ones are away.
I love a bit of light gardening, and have often refurbished a few for a surprise...that's just what I do. I'm great at decluttering and organising spaces too, if you'd like some extra domestic TLC.
I've been house Mum for five years at a large five bedroom Student Homestead and spent a year refreshing it after ten years of student neglect. The Landlords loved me, but sadly for them, I relocated back to the Gold Coast.
Most recently I've resided and assisted with caretaking on a large GC hinterland property for 4 yrs, fullfilling house sitting positions when I can.
Your home and pets will be in very safe, responsible, caring and tidy hands. Your home is your sanctuary and I respect that privilege so much!

Review for Shelley – House sitting 25th July to 9th September, 2025
Shelley looked after our home and garden for 6.5 weeks while we travelled overseas. The house looked wonderful, neat and clean and the outside back area of the house cleaned up and reorganised. Even my bookcases had been dusted and properly rearranged. The pantry had been cleaned and reorganised and old out of date packets removed. We found she had used her creative ability to to make a sanctuary outside with paperbark birds and sun, hanging laterns and and the table set up. What a terrific surprise! There were flowers and native flower arrangements everywhere inside and out. Shelley is a gem. Completely trustworthy. Communicated regularly while we travelled and dealt with the mail. You would be very privileged to get Shelley as a house sitter.
