Steve and I are a reliable, fifty-something, animal-loving couple who have been house-sitting full-time since 2015. Caring for people's homes, gardens & pets for three years in our home state of Western Australia, then another four in Tasmania, before returning to WA in 2023.

We're both retired which means almost all of our time can be spent around your pets and home.

As a couple, we’ve been married over thirty years (all spent in WA and Tasmania) and are the parents of two adult, independent children.

Lizzie and Steve are animal whisperers.
It took a couple of weeks of smoozing for them to earn the confidence of my very timid rescue kitty but their patience, kindness and persistence prevailed. I returned home to a well cared for pet and well maintained home and garden.
Lizzie and Steve, thank you so so much for accepting the challenge, for staying in my teeny tiny home, caring for Mungee and my things, keeping the garden alive in quite demanding temperatures. Anyone who wants the real deal, will be able to leave their precious pet, belongings and home in your hands, go away and return to pampered pets and clean sheets.

Simply put - Liz and Steve are amazing.
There are few select people I would trust to look after my beloved puppies, but can now definitely add them to the list.
Liz and Steve were so great from when I asked them to house sit until the day they left for their new place. It was such a huge relief knowing my two girls and our home were so well looked after. The girls no doubt kept them on their toes most of the time, but they cared for them like they were their own.
Our next holiday will be booked for when Liz and Steve are free! Couldn’t recommend them enough.

I have nothing but wonderful things to say about Liz & Steve.
It was so hard to leave our fur babe whilst we were away but Liz and Steve were so understanding! They sent constant updates /photos whilst we were away and were always happy to respond to ALL my messages checking in 😄.
You could see right away how much they loved Oliver as if he were their own which was lovely to see. Thank you both so much for helping Jeff and I at such short notice and for being so kind and amazing to deal with since day one.
Even though Oliver was so happy to see us when we returned you could tell he had that much fun that he also didn’t want you to leave.

Steve and Lizzie are such a lovely couple.
Our house and pets were in caring, safe hands with them. They made extra efforts to ensure my dogs were happy and nurtured and they built amazing relationships with them during their short stay.

Thank you so much for the fantastic care of Carla whilst we were away. She was a happy relaxed dog when we came back and her stress only started when she realised Steve was not there to take her for 2 walks a day.
The house was spotless which was lovely to come home to after a 4.5 hour drive so it meant I could put my feet up, after unpacking of course.
Would have no hesitation in recommending you to friends and we would have you housesit again if your calendar permits.

Thank you both for housesitting twice for us now! Our 2 greyhounds, cat, rabbit, guinea pig, 3 budgies, quail and snails all miss you.
You're both such caring, loving people and it's easy to see you love animals, and they love you. I actually think the cat was disappointed when you left and we came home.
Having you both stay here took the stress away and we could enjoy our holidays without worry.

What can I say, Steve did such a great job house sitting, not only looking after my home and large garden & lawn but also caring for my animals.
Diamond my retired greyhound was contented & happy when I arrived home after being away for 3 weeks. He welcomed me home & then went looking for Steve, I must admit I was a bit jealous :) Thank you for walking him each day too, he looks great.
I also have two cats & an aviary of budgies. I believe after a short time the cats forgot they were frightened of men & became really smoochy, good on you Steve.
I left a list of all my pot plants etc that needed watering & every one of them is looking great plus the water dishes for the wild birds were looked after too so I am really rapt with the way my home & family were cared for in my absence.
If anyone was to ask me if I could recommend a lovely couple to look after their home and animals I wouldn't hesitate to tell them about Steve & Lizzie.
