I have been house sitting since November 2015 - quite unintentionally- having sold my Cavill Avenue apartment in Surfers and had a leaseback on another apartment so I house sat and enjoyed it so much I did it for a year before buying my next home on Macleay Island. I only did repeat sits for people I knew whilst living there. I sold there in 2021 and bought a home in Forrest Beach FNQ. Soon after arriving there I applied for and received an offer July 2021 to work for Services Australia. I retired again in February 2023 at 69 years of age. Now that I am permanently retired I resumed doing house sits. I have thus far sat for owners at Townsville, Smithfield in Cairns, Machans Beach Cairns, Cardwell, twice at Wongaling Beach, Redland Bay Redlands.
I have my home at Forrest Beach on the market and came down to Southport to do a three-week high-rise apartment sit for a gorgeous cuddly little doggo in June. I have now also secured a full-time house sit from September to October in Logan. I was missing family and friends and the heat and humidity was too much.
I have referees I can give you should you be interested in having me. I do not have a current police check as one of my referees is one of a police couple, she a Sergeant at Indooroopilly and her partner is at Brisbane City Station.
I am very house proud so you will come home to a clean house, and I so look forward to caring for your pets, if you have any.
