More information about this house sitter

We are both retirees who travel north from Victoria for 4 to 5 months a year during winter to escape the cold. We have a caravan and in the past have travelled extensively around Australia and especially throughout Queensland, enjoying the inland areas away from the “touristy” parts. Our days of hopping from place to place are over, so now we would like to stay for a few weeks to get to know people and places. Our available time is from mid May to mid September and by having a caravan we are flexible and available on short notice, so feel free to contact us.

Rod was formerly a recreation officer and Nancy a nurse. We love animals and walk every day to keep fit and active. In our working life we have had small acreages with cattle and sheep so we are familiar with rural properties. We have Police checks and prior sit references for your perusal. Having been landlords and owning our home you can be assured we will take good
care of your property and pets. We are both honest and reliable, fully Covid vaccinated, non smokers and don’t mind getting our hands dirty. We are in Probus and also regularly volunteer to help those less fortunate. Making new friends by housesitting is an added bonus.
We have a well behaved Dachshund that travels with us in the caravan and has her own yard if necessary. We need space to park our van (21ft) at your property. We
can handle residential, hobby farms and small acreages and we love gardening. Either coastal or inland sits – we are not fussy. Read more...
