Hi, I am Ingrid and I have a background in nursing (registered nurse) working in all fields including maternity. More recently I studied and completed my degree in journalism and work as a freelance writer. I have also rekindled my love of art and love sketching and painting, mostly watercolours. I absolutely love pein air sketching and painting, especially when traveling.

I love animals and have two lovely cats of my own, so I am very familiar with the whims and antics of felines. I have done several house sits, where I have taken care of a menagerie and I regularly look after friends and neighbours' gardens and pets when they go on holidays, including cats, dogs and rabbits. I grew up on a farm where we also had several horses that I cared for.

I love to travel and enjoy being immersed in the culture of the country I am visiting.
