More information about this house sitter

We, Fionnuala (56) and Hugh (61) moved from Ireland to The Hague in the Netherlands in 1988. Both our sons were born and raised in the Netherlands. We have been running the agency which provides translation, editing and journalism services since 1990. I have also regularly worked in various capacities for a number of international organizations based in The Hague. When we can drag ourselves away from the tennis court, my latest hobby is designing and creating stained glass ornaments and Hugh works as a volunteer at a special weekend school for young children in a disadvantaged area of The Hague and with a community theatre.
With the children grown and independent, we have found that we can travel and take our work with us. Having discovered house sitting, we enjoy the feeling that we can share the benefits of that freedom by allowing our hosts to hit the road themselves in the knowledge that their homes and pets are in the safe hands of a capable and loving couple.
We will be travelling to Australia at the end of 2018. We already have a house sit in Perth until the middle of January and would like to do more as we continue our travels.
