I currently live in Dianella Perth and am helping my sister with her new born but am house sitting as a way to get my own space. I am very flexible due to not relying on house sitting as my primary source of accommodation so if your trip gets cancelled, ends early or ends up taking longer than expected, it's completely fine with me. I have been house sitting for years in Australia and in this past year, I have house sat in Mexico, Guatemala, Colorado, Spain and Thailand. Most of my house sits come from referrals from friends and people I have house sat for but regardless, I usually like to meet for a cup of coffee with the pet and pet owner or have a chat on the phone as a way of introducing myself. I have police clearance, non- smoker, working with childrens card, references from people I have house sat for and character references from the sea scout group and nursing home I volunteer with.
