Hi,
We sold our home in October 2018 to be free to explore until our apartment was built, and moved into it in September 2020.. We spent much of our time caravanning, but in Adelaide we managed to have quite a few house-sits experiences. We met some wonderful dogs of all sizes, and a few sweet geriatric cats. Two of the photos in our profile show Jeff with a couple of "our" house-sitting pets: dogs seem to love Jeff! As we have had pets throughout most of our married lives , ( cats, rabbit, Guinea pigs and 4 dogs), it has been great to interact with pets again. We have had several house-sits organized with chickens as well, (all with names ?, ) and loved the fresh eggs! We also took on the care of the delightful ( apart from the razor sharp teeth) 8 week old Bernese Mountain puppy Maya: adored her so much that I’ve added her photo to our profile ?
Some of these house-sits have been organized by word-of-mouth, with people finding out we were "home-free” ,but we also decided to join a couple of sitting sites and have met some great pets ( and home owners!) through these.
We have a couple of reviews therefore on this site but also have other previous homeowners happy to provide phone references should you wish to contact them.
We have also been a house-sitter East Ballina, looking after a delightful labradoodle Indi, and very much enjoy the Northern Rivers area.

We’re settled into our new home now, the spectre of Covid seems to be fading, so we’re thinking it may fun to do some house-sitting again, get to have some more “temporary” pets ? , and explore the eastern States more.

We can assure you we will be meticulous and respectful in looking after your home, and will care for your pets as if they were our own.
