Cat and dog-lover, home-maker, love cooking & plants. I am a single, responsible, mature, recently retired professional woman. Returned to Aust. 4 and a half years ago, after living & working in China & Taiwan for some years.

I have been with 'Mindahome' for a few years now and have had nothing but excellent experiences with both home/pet owners & their pets.

In my experience, this website is very, very well-organised by the owners and there is a lot of ongoing goodwill between home- owners and sitters, to which I hope I contribute .

I come from Melbourne originally & have family and close friends there. I now live in inner-city Brisbane but have done a lot of house/pet-sitting in Melb (pre-Covid), my hometown.

I have also done quite a bit of house/pet sitting in Qld, where I am now settled, but sometimes it's nice to get out of the city and have a beach holiday, while caring for pets. I lived on the Sunshine Coast for many years, am fit and active. Love the beach, swimming, walking ,Yoga and being in nature.

Home/pet sitting in Melb also enables me to have a stay in Melb, to spend extended time with family & friends, without 'over-staying my welcome' at homes of either elderly mother or busy family & friends, if you see what I mean.

I have had my own cats all my life. Love them. Also dogs but prefer smaller breeds or gentler dogs. I grew up with both dogs and cats. I am currently in-between my own cats & have a flatmate who is a cat-person, so, am available to be away for a while.

Am also experienced with elderly cats, who may have 'difficult' habits/ need medication and rescue cats settling in & in need of extra care & attention.

I can supply excellent references.
