Introduction

Hello, Des and I are from Tasmania’s North-West Coast. We are non-smoking early-60’s and are enjoying Campervan travels around this great country.
I have 20+ years in the health industry, including disability and Aged Care. Desmond has many years’ experience in golf course green keeping. His past employment also includes home and pool maintenance, trade contracting, and race course curating.
We both love to travel and explore different places, so far mostly within Australia. We are fit and active, happiest outdoors, whether it be walking, beaches or just enjoying life. Our other joint passions are animals, gardening, and rock-and-roll dancing. In addition, I love to bike ride, and Des loves his AFL, golf and has spent many years playing ,coaching, and community involvement with local sports teams. We're clean, tidy, honest, reliable and flexible, and your home and treasured animals always our priority.



Why we want to house sit

We love animals and to travel and discover the real experiences of a location.

House-sitting allows us to immerse ourselves into real communities, rather than just the popular bits on the brochures.Often caring for a wide variety of treasured pets, an added bonus 4 us. (3 turtles and a snake in the top end!)


What we bring to the assignment
Relevant experience and capabilities and knowledge. The love of pets and have previously had our own dogs, cats, fish and birds. Years of living in our own homes as well as in rented properties, we have always cared and maintained them in an excellent condition.
