Dear home owners,

My family and I love travelling around the would and within Australia. We have moved around a few times to experience many different places (spending one year living abroad in Turkey in 2017, experiencing parts of Europe, Africa and the Middle East). We also lived on our own hobby farm in Melbourne for two and a half years, when the girls were younger, looking after several of our own animals including horses, goats, dogs, chickens and a cat.

My husband and I are starting to enjoy some time away on our own, discovering new parts of Australia as our adolescent daughters become more self reliant and can stay on in our Sydney based home. So it will be the two of us from now on home and pet sitting.

We all love animals and have house sat for various home owners and friends with pets and gardens to look after. We can provide you with references for people whose houses we have sat in Melbourne, for whom you are welcome to phone for reassurance. We enjoy cuddling with cats and dogs and have a lot of respect for all animals. We are more than happy to provide you with updates of photos and let you know how they're going (usually via what's app).

We value being clean and tidy and make sure your home is left in great condition. My husband is very handy around the house, often able to repair and fix odd jobs if required. We like to stock your fridge upon your return with essentials like bread, milk and eggs and leave you with a home cooked meal (but will check if this suits you before you return).

We are passionate about issues of social justice and the environment and spent some time volunteering in Turkey.

I am a psychologist and school counsellor with the Department of Education and my husband is a trainer at University of Technology Sydney (UTS). Read more...
