More information about this house sitter

I have been a primary school teacher in WA for the past 30 years and am taking a break for a few years to travel around the east coast while my partner does some part time consultancy work between Sydney and Melbourne. We are keen sea kayakers, hikers and cyclists and usually enjoy living in our tent, but occasionally we enjoy the comforts of home and so look for people to help out by caring for their homes for a few days.
We have had cats and dogs all our lives, as well as Guinea pigs, mice, chooks and all the pets that go with child-rearing. After losing our beloved kelpie malamute cross to a bait last year, we have missed the companionship of animals which our transient lifestyle prohibits, and would enjoy caring for yours. Having come from a rural 3/4 acre block with large gardens, we would also enjoy maintaining your property to a high standard. My partner is a skilled handyman who can fix anything, so you know your house will be in safe hands with us to care for it while you enjoy your break.
