I am a life long animal lover and advocate, grew up on a farm in northern NSW and was educated in Sydney, the UK and the US. I enjoy spending time with critters of all kinds. I am a university Professor (English literature) and live in the beautiful stone country of the NSW Northern Tablelands. I like to travel interstate, to access services not available in my home town (e.g. research facilities and cultural facilities) : hence my interest in house sitting. I am a vegetarian, a non smoker, non drinker, a long term meditator, a Pilates and yoga student, and enjoy art galleries and reading. My husband , Ric, works in Education business partnerships and is retraining as a clinical psychologist, and I have a beautiful working line German shepherd, Keeper, who is being professionally trained in conservation tracking work (although we would not expect him to join me on any house sits). I am very neat, orderly and respectful of others and their property.
