Hello! We are a mature, joyful couple, who decided a few years ago that we would like to see more of Australia. So we put all of our belongings in storage, bought a camper trailer and have been housesitting - or camping - for all this time. We love our housesits, both for exploring new locales and getting to know all the delightful animals we have cared for.

We are both originally from the U.S. but have dual citizenship and have lived in Australia for over 40 years combined - so we still 'talk funny' but call Australia home! We have been lucky enough to have lived in the Byron Bay Northern Rivers area for most of those years.

Our habits: No smoking or drugs, although we do enjoy a glass of wine with dinner now and then. We are both neat freaks and will look after your home as if it were our own. We have rented our own place on AirB&b in the past so we know how to look after a home in a very personal and beauty-oriented way. (See attachment for references.) We both love cats and dogs and Cindee is an avid gardener and plant lover, if that is something you might need while you are away.

Jim was in the restaurant business for 13 years then opened a handyman/painting/cleaning business which he ran for 15 years. He plays guitar, has acted in local plays and his most loved hobby is checking out musical stats of 60s and 70s groups, singers and songwriters.

Cindee is a former English teacher, and newspaper journalist/columnist and book editor. She later joined Jim in his painting/cleaning endeavours. She loves to sew, write poetry and sing songs with Jim.

We are both very committed to our health. We are trained yoga instructors and still keep up our daily practice. We also do long walks and hikes and swim in the ocean when we can. We are mostly vegetarian.
