Hi there, I'm a responsible, non-smoking 52 year old female available to care for your home, garden and pets in Sydney, the Central Coast, and the Newcastle / Lake Macquarie area.

I started house sitting in early 2013 and I've done around 25 house sitting assignments since then (a number of these were for repeat clients), in Sydney, the Illawarra / South Coast, and more recently, in Newcastle and Lake Macquarie. I've looked after dogs and cats of various breeds, as well as chickens, parrots, fish, rabbits, worm farms, swimming pools, large gardens, and many, many pot plants!

I love animals and they've been a big part of my life since I was a child. I grew up on a sheep farm surrounded by animals of all shapes and sizes. My parents and siblings have had dogs and cats as pets for many years and I've spent a lot of time looking after them. My parents live in Wagga but like to travel so I have often cared for their sweet cat Bobbi, and their home and garden, when they go away. I have a calm and gentle nature that animals respond well to. Prior to starting house sitting, I rented a home with a small yard and garden in Sydney's inner west for six years so in addition to caring for homes and pets, I'm more than happy to do some light gardening and mowing.

I'm a clean, organised and quiet-living person who will care for your home and pets as if they are my own. I'm not a "party person" by any means and I like to spend a lot of time at home, preferably on my own or in the company of animals! My only requirement is that any home I look after needs to be free of mould, leaks, water damage, rising damp, and musty smells as I'm allergic to mould and water damaged buildings. Also, for homes with dogs, I prefer to care for small or quiet, older dogs as I'm quite a small person myself and I find large, boisterous dogs difficult to handle!
