RETIRED SENIORS
I am a retired Associate Professor in Environmental Economics and my wife, Laila, is a retired Barrister at Law. We now live on Hope Island on the Gold Coast in "Vision", an "over 50's" resort facility which is a gated community with 88 homes (see lifebeginsathalcyon dot com dot au website) and click on Vision. We moved here in 2016 from an avocado farm on Tamborine Mountain, Queensland where we had lived for 42 years. We had Great Dane dogs for 32 years and warmblood horses which our daughters bred and rode in competitions. We are now without pets as we travel a lot in Australia and overseas. Since moving to our new home, where we can lock the front door and travel, we have found the perfect lifestyle balance for us is to enjoy our beautiful home environment and to house and pet sit for approx. 4 months of the year to keep physical fit and mentally active. We have house & pet sat for friends and home owners (from Mindahome). We are both physical fit, active and non smokers.
