Hi I am a retired Educator, having taught students from Prep. to University level in NSW, Qld (city & remote) & the Torres Strait, NT remote area, Taiwan, China and Vanuatu. Therefore, I have current Police & Working with Children checks in a number of States. My upbringing, lifestyle & belief system have resulted in me being a: non- smoker, reliable, honest, hard working, friendly & viewing each new situation in life as an adventure waiting to be lived out, type of person. I regard others homes and property with great care as I am sure they would want me to treat them, their home, their pets etc. with respect and kindness.
Raised on a farm & enjoying most animals & gardening I find I can still do the work, but ... a little slower. In my spare time I like to swim, bike ride, organise my stamps & coins, take photographs & listen to music.
I have attended Universities/Colleges in NSW, Qld, Hong Kong, China & Taiwan, receiving degrees & certificates mainly in Education but with some in business & specific computer programmes. Much of my life has been teaching primary & high school students, teachers, Indigenous Australians & Chinese educators. Being able to speak Mandarin Chinese I have been enabled to teach in China as well as teach Mandarin in schools in Australia. As well as working in education, I have managed a small, business, worked with cattle, built fences & grown many vegetables.
From 2012 to 2018 I have lived in my Motorhome which has made working and house sitting in any state easy to attend. I began house sitting in 2016. May - July 2018 I was house farm sitting in Victoria. I then moved to Cairns (August - October 2018) to house sit, then Brisbane (November) .
I sold my motorhome at the end of 2018 as house sitting filled the calendar for 2019 -2022.
Well, house sits were scrapped during COVID-19 & I entombed in Cairns, but with 4 vaxxes behind me (almost 5) I am on the house sit lists again. 2023 I have a 6 month sit and then shorter ones until Dec 2024.

I enjoy longer house sits but am happy to do shorter ones of a few weeks or a month. City or country residences are fine. I am sorry but I have developed an allergy to cats so am unable to enjoy their company.
