Hello, we are Julie & Len.

We are in our 60’s and are both retired professionals who own our home in the Riverina area. We have been living in UK for the past 30 years and have now returned to our homeland. After travelling around Europe extensively we are now ready to explore Australia and all that it has. With this we would like to give the opportunity to others who would like to travel or visit places that they want to go while we housesit and/or pet sit. We are previous pet owners and before leaving Australia had a German Shepherd, a domestic short haired cat and a budgie. In the UK we had 2 sets of cats at different times so are used to the different characters of each member of our family.

Len was a Flood Defence Engineer with the Environment Agency in the UK for the last 30 years and worked for the State Rail Authority of NSW for 13 years as an Engineer and Surveyor. I have worked in education for the last 25 years from being a Teaching Assistant to a Matron (pastoral care) in independent schools in the UK. As we lived in a flat within the boarding accommodation we were required to maintain this to a high standard, we therefore know how to keep other people's properties clean, neat and tidy. We have been married since 1983 and are very considerate people and are mindful of other people’s lives, property, expectations and needs. We are also very trustworthy and reliable and if we say that we will be there for you and your fur family we will. We are relaxed and unflustered by temperament – we will not let you down!

We are non-smokers, light drinkers and both fully Covid vaccinated and are in good health. Julie has managed boarding houses looking after the health and pastoral care of the borders as well as managing the cleaning and maintenance. Len was responsible for managing flood defences and dealing with emergency incidents. We both like walking and pottering around in the garden.

Although we have not been back in Australia very long time we do have UK Police Checks that were carried out for both of us in the midst of moving.
