We are retired, physically fit, trustworthy, clean and tidy. We are travelling around Australia for an extended period that started in September 2019. We are house/pet sitting as we travel and are enjoying these experiences. We own a Lotus Freelander Van and have the option of staying in the homes or our own van…. We have extensive house/pet sitting experience . Since 2019 we have sat at Nelson Bay NSW, Harvey WA, and Woodgate, Calliope, Maryborough and Bundaberg in Qld, Dungog NSW, Also at Wodonga, Lysterfield and Diamond Creek VIC,..and then a year’s assignment at Barmedman NSW which completed early January 2024.
Currently we are in Queensland again and have housitting in the Brisbane North and wide bay regions ..At present we are booked up till mid-October 2025…and are available after that.
Most of our house sits have also involved caring for pets and in some cases farm animals, others have been small acreages with gardens, and ride-on mowing requirements. We have looked after Pugs, A Great Dane, Tibetan Spaniel, Cattle Dogs and Kelpies, and most recently , a Malamut, Shiba Inu, and French Bulldogs. We also love cats and at Diamond Creek there were 4 different breeds…some of our house sits also had birds, chooks and sheep.
We have provided Police Checks, personal references, and also references from our assignments .We are both non-smokers, have no pets and are up to date with vaccinations .
