Update on my profile, I have now been in Perth for nearly a month and have been house sitting 3 dogs and budgies, my current house sitting gig is to be completed on the 28th of September, and I will be available to take on a new one, as I am still looking for a rental. I’m Merryn. A 40 year old Mum from Melbourne. I’m planning a big and exciting life change for myself, my two children and our dog wrinkles. We are moving to WA. My work gives me the opportunity to work from home or our Perth office.
I am planning to drive over and be there by August.
My children will see out the last few months of the year for school here in Melbourne and stay with their Dad while I find our new home and settle our new life in WA.

In a perfect world, I would love to do some housesitting when I arrive, whilist I have recently spent a fair bit of time in Perth for work, I want to ensure I find the right suburb to live for my children, and given the rental market, it can currently be lengthy in securing a property.
Also, and this might be asking too much, but in a perfect world I’d love to be able to house sit with my small dog wrinkles and bring her over with me.
Wrinkles is a rescue, we got her when she was 4 months, she is 6 now.
She is a Sharpei x pug and very good with other dogs.
I love the outdoors and walk every day. I am out the door by 6am and we do a minimum of 6kms every morning!

I currently work for a global technology company doing their recruitment. We have an office in Perth cbd, but as my company is Global, I work from home often, so if you want someone to go is often home or home many days to look after your pet, that’s easy for me with my work commitments.
