Retiring early, Glenn created his own podcast, called Inside Exercise (look it up ?), while Kathy, a dietitian, works remotely part time. Both curious and inquisitive, we love travel and new experiences. After living overseas for periods of 6 months several times we've decided to become greyish nomads e.g. travelling Australia while housesitting and looking after people's lovely pets. We are renting out our house in Melbourne and exploring the East coast! We want to try out different areas with an eye to maybe retire at one of them.

We adore animals. It's probably fair to say that Glenn's obsessed with them (and they become obsessed with him!). Glenn grew up with dogs and a cat that he adored. As a family, we’ve had a cat and two dogs. We give them love, stimulation, play and activity, routine, taking care of medication requirements and competently handle issues/emergencies. We ensure the pet's daily routines and practices are kept. During the housesit we'll keep you up to date on your pet(s) adventures (texts, calls, photos, videos).

We are non-smokers, love exercise, honest, caring and considerate and we keep our and others' accommodation clean. Having been a landlord and previously having our dogs looked after for extended periods, we understand the importance of respect of others’ valuable property, plants and precious pets. We've lived overseas in furnished apartments that we cared for as if they were our own.

We have completed 18 housesits in 2024 (currently undertaking one on this site, see reviews attached) with small, medium and large dogs, cats and chickens and have 8 more confirmed sits booked in (dogs, cats, a guinea pig, fish and a snake!).
