Hi, I'm a German Backpacker currently staying at a firend's place in Sydney NSW. When I went to NZ in 2009 and 2013 I worked as a volunteer several times. All jobs involved looking after animals e.g. native birds at the National Wildlife Centre “Pukaha Mt Bruce”; farm animals at a farm in Christchurch (“Tutukinoa Rare Breeds”; four cats, two dogs, several pigs, goats, rabbits, chickens, donkeys and Shetlands) as well as show jumping sport horses in Auckland (Kiwi host family). Besides I worked as a stable hand in NSW just recently (“Willinga Park”; dressage performance horses).

I really like animals and therefore would love to look after pets for up to six weeks. Their wellbeing is very important to me and I like the idea of being accompanied by them during my stay. I’m also a very tidy person, e.g. always do the dishes/bedding and a non-smoker. A friend of mine is staying in my flat in Germany right now, which means that I trust her with my personal belongings for eight months. Therefore I highly value the house of the owner too!
