Hi

I’m Kerryn and I’m a mature aged woman looking to house sit your home for you.

I’ve just relocated back to Melbourne after 3 years living in Cairns then a year on the Sunshine Coast. I lived in Melbourne all my life prior to that.

I am available from 22/7 - 6/8 & 17/9 onwards as I have 3 house sits confirmed.

I grew up in the City of Kingston all my life and have worked Front Office in Real Estate (20 years) covering areas in Aspendale, Mentone, Sandringham, Brighton and Hampton East and I’m extremely familiar with these areas and their amazing communities.

Mum of 2 young men, 25 and 27. Worked all my life in customer service and office admin.

Happy, kind, friendly, positive, genuine, respectful and treat people as I’d like to be treated.

I used to be a home owner in Dingley and sold my home a couple of years ago.

I have rented whilst up in Queensland as I rented out my own home when I went to Western Australia in 2016 for a couple of years after my parents passed away.

I returned to Melbourne for 2 years and rented a gorgeous cottage in Edithvale until I went up to Queensland after COVID hit Victoria. I had the opportunity to look at my bucket list and tick off a couple of them.

I treat all my ‘homes’ as if they are my own and take pride in being clean, tidy and not afraid to tackle what needs to be done and ensuring / keeping the home presentable with a welcoming, warm & comfy space.

I Love pets, especially dogs & appreciate their unconditional love. We’ve had dogs, birds, bearded dragon lizards, black headed python snake,

I had a Moodle for 13 years until he passed away in 2021 & I do miss the company of a pet.

I was a Pet Sitter (Cocker Spaniel) for a year in Cairns - she was 8 weeks old when I started caring for her.

I have also house sat briefly on the Sunshine Coast before commencing my course last year. They had a beagle dog, a cat & a snake.

I’ve just completed my Certificate 3 in Individual Support - Ageing and I will potentially be commencing employment from June - July. I have interviewed with a local council with an Induction Day later in June.

Love helping people and contributing to my community and my interests.

I enjoy walking daily, especially with a dog. Great way to start your day!

Recently volunteered in a local Opp Shop on the Sunny Coast and thoroughly enjoy interacting with people and putting a smile on their faces.

I enjoy my space and my own company as well as catching up with long term friends, my sons and my brother.

My interests are animals, walking, nature, netball, AFL, dancing, seeing friends bands, cooking, baking, gardening, spirituality, crystals, meditation, creativity, yoga, Pilates, appreciating local art & culture, travelling around to new places, socialising with friends, meeting like minded people.

I arrived back in Melbourne 18/5 & I’m hoping to buy a home later in the year or next year.

I can provide rental references, personal referees and I’m currently in the process of renewing my Police Check.

I also have a Blue Card & NDIS card and my first aid qualification with CPR & manual handling (using various care aid equipment) - all requirements for my Qualification
