More information about this house sitter
I am a single kiwi who retired from teaching having spent 11years in the UK teaching & caring for elderly clients in their homes and house sitting and pet minding. I joined the charity The Cinnamon Trust as a volunteer dog walker which I thoroughly enjoyed when I was looking after elderly people who had no pets. I then moved to MacKay Northern Queensland for almost a year & most of that year housesitting. Since returning to settle back in NZ I have been housesitting almost full time although I have bought a motor home & spend a lot of the summer months travelling NZ. My most recent housesits have been very shy cats with some dogs. Unfortunately I cannot walk long distances now & so I’m unable to look after energetic dogs who require long walks. I am finding older dogs & I are more compatible as we plod along at our own speed.?But I still love looking after dogs no matter what size.
I have a daughter & grandsons living on the Sunshine Coast & would like positions in that area anytime of the year in order to spend some time with them but still have my own space & time to look after pets.
